Description
This is a fairly basic diesel train locomotive. It has a 3 cylinder (5x5) modular engine, 2 large batteries, a track switch system, lights, a radio, a map display, and an ability to be controlled remotely by a second locomotive. It uses a personal micro-controller to control the engine and brakes for all cars in a consist. The locomotive has instrument panels for the throttle, independent brake(locomotive), and the train brakes along with a reverser lever. The switches for the coupling mechanism can be controlled from inside the cab. This is a pretty decent locomotive for moving cars, cargo, and people around the game world. The locomotive has working lights, heaters, and enough personal equipment for a crew of two operators.

The locomotive has a very small fuel tank near the front of the locomotive. It holds only a little over 700 liters of diesel fuel. It can be refueled using hose anchors found on either side near the front steps. The fuel pump must be switched on in the cab in order to refuel the locomotive.

Starting the locomotive is very simple. Climb into the cab and activate the fuel pumps using the purple switch on the back wall. Start the engine using the bright red key switch also on the back wall. The 3 instrument panels in front of the cab control the throttle, and brake systems. The green lever in the front of the cab controls the reverser. Be advised that the train brake also partially activates the independent brakes for the locomotive.

In the event of wheel slip due to the power of the engine, slowly apply the independent brake until the wheels regain traction. The locomotive has a top speed of approximately 100 miles per hour with no cars connected and enough of the brakes applied to not have wheel slip.

The external control system takes into consideration if the locomotive is facing the same direction as the controlling locomotive as well as if it is in front of or behind the controlling locomotive. The "External Control" switch indicates if the locomotive is not the controlling vehicle in the train, while the "Power from Rear" switch indicates that the controlling vehicle is "Behind" the current vehicle. This means that normally data would be passed from the front vehicle along the train to the rear vehicle, but it can be configured to control the train from any position in the consist without issues. There is also a switch to invert the transmitted reverser position in the event that the current locomotive is not facing the same direction as the controlling locomotive. The switch also reverses the RGB navigation lights on the sides of the cab indicating which direction the train as a whole is facing/moving.

The micro-controller uses the following channels to control all vehicles in a consist:

Numbers:
- 1. Throttle Position of controlling vehicle
- 2. Reverser Position of controlling vehicle
- 3. Independent Brake Position of controlling vehicle
- 4. Train Brake Position of controlling vehicle
