Description
This mod adds Vampire Coast's certain mechanics to Lokhir Fellheart. these include:
  • Infamy ranking and Shanty: In addition to Vampire Coast's basic ranking and shanty system, bestowing loot to your underling corsair will reduce the infamy you have. (aka You can upgrade your corsairs with infamy)
  • Treasure Hunting: For this, Lokhir's faction has gained a 'search for treasures' stance instead of a channeling stance. As compensation, they also gained an encampment stance. His encampment stance will also increase magic.
  • Pieces of Eight: Instead of RoR, they strengthen your Corsairs factionwide! Make Corsair Chosen!
  • Free Booting: Copycat of total war's 'An Ocean of Opportunities' dilemma. Face your opponent in the Jade Sea! However, maybe a legendary pirate hunter will start to prey on you.

This mod will cause CTD if you play as Lokhir, but don't have the Vampire Coast DLC

Issues & Possible futureplans
Treasures
Only lords can dig for treasure. For your trouble, their reward is made double, and the search for treasure stance does not consume moving points.

Another critical problem comes from the location of treasures. As DB didn't change from WH2, all of the treasures are located Mortal Empire map area. Which is far from Lokhir's starting point.

For that, I've added 8 new treasure locations within the Cathay (9 if you include the starting treasure map) but none of those is a unique treasure map. That's because I think there should be some unique rewards like Malus' quest for the unique treasure maps. But I don't know any of the lore and can't make any.

Invasion events
For every 21st turn, you'll face a victim-choosing dilemma. If you choose Cathay pirate hunters and defeat them twice, the mighty legendary pirate hunter will spawn and start to hunt your faction leader. He might have only one army, but be wary though, he is stupidly strong.

More pieces of Eight?
Currently, the Indian Ocean is empty from roving pirates who give out Pieces of Eight.

As there is at least one unused faction in the table, I could make an additional one. Yes, there was a pun of eight pieces of eight, but I think the playability matters more.

The hard part is thinking up the names and descriptions with pirates speaking. If you want one or two other pieces of eight coins in the Indian Ocean, give me some texts and I'll happily add them to the mod.

Q. Unlike the stance icon on the lower left, the stance icon on the head of the general is still a channeling icon.
A. That's because I don't know how to change the one above the general's head. Sorry.

Q No flagship?
A. I'm kind of content with the semi-legendary treat on Lokhir's starting vessel and giving Lokhis another will make two 'Tower of the Blessed Dread' in the faction.

Q. No pirate coves?
A. Too much work and I thought looting with black ark was better.

Q. Shanty Lyric text are not showing up in battle.
A. Sorry don't know how to solve it. At least we got sound.

Q. Do I get Cathayan treasure maps if I play as Vampire Coast?
A. No. You'll not. Due to some shenanigans of my coding, Vampire Coast and Lokhir's mechanism plays differently whether whom you play.
A. (2022/12/31) Yes, you'll. I foolishly thought the script will look for the functions in the same file first then the global functions from other files and come up with the above answer. If you're having any problems playing with Vampire Coast factions, please notify me.

Not only this mod but most of the campaign feature things has initial acript that only runs on new game start and will break your game

Yeah looking over the Araby one it is a lot cleaner, though there are still bits and pieces of script that I want to reuse from here, as I also don't have RoRs to unlock. I hope that's fine. Also, I don't think there are custom twuis in this mod, right? They all show up regardless. Thanks again.

Yeah sure. Same as my previous message. No Stratovarius mods, change GUID, global functions and such. Note that this mod overrides the vanilla function while adding the Cathay treasure map, and you'll break my mod if you include that. (My early mod and I had no idea about Lua globals) Araby one will be cleaner in that sense.
