Description

Become the machine and destroy RED's missile!

Carrier is a CTF/CP hybrid, where BLU must escort a giant bomb-carrying robot to destroy RED's missile. Unlike MVM, the BLU robot is controlled by a real player, who's been strengthened.

I initially really liked this map, however now it feels like it has issues similar to why I find Crasher to be incredibly unfun. At least as of right now, the bomb carrier is not fun to play against.

Players on BLU have pretty much figured out the most efficient way to deliver the bomb (Zatoichi Demo or Soldier, Battalion's Soldier, Vacc Medics on the carrier), and it just becomes boring to play with and against time after time. The bomb carrier having full crits only made this worse.

Basically, it was extremely fun at first, but now that everyone just does the same exact efficient tactics when they're on BLU, it's no longer that enjoyable. Similar fate as Crasher pretty much.

Hey, whenever another update happens
Could you make the bomb carrier explode after a while in overtime? like 5 minutes max? because as of writing this, there is a giant heavy that refuses to move foward and it's just a infinite stalemate, it gets boring QUICK.

You can just camp outside the choke to last as a giant, wait for your teammates to push, then sprint to the final point. Super cheesy and that's how most games play out. I just came from a game that lasted 30 minutes in overtime because of this. Make healing the robot impossible in overtime.

Maybe instead of giving minicrits, give carrier "strenght" or "haste" Mannpower powerup (or both).

The full changelog will be available when the map is updated, though the major buffs are changing their mini-crits to crits, as well as some damage resistance against miniguns and sentries. In the following weeks we may make more balance changes.
