Description
remove mech cluster incident
(remove only incident, mech cluster quest will be maintained.)


I made this mod because I rarely see biotech races because of the mech cluster.
If you want to meet a lot of different races, try it.


Or just use this mod if you hate mech clusters.

does this disable mech raids or only clusters? getting real tired of fighting off 3 Diabolus and losing every animal and melee pawns being useless, i would turn off the faction but then you cant advance mechanitor tech.

Yeah, just did my first 1.4 ship launch, and got 30+ mech clusters during the count down.
Almost never got any other type of raid the entire time, and when I did it was DURING a mech cluster.

Definitely using this my next playthrough.

@8beater Because it's significantly stronger (in terms of points) than other threats, especially in the late game, storytellers will prefer to use them over other threats. This reduces the chances of other types of threats appearing. Also, they are very boring, you can only defeat them with very simple logic, because they are neither afraid of fire, nor very afraid of psionics, and they cannot be captured after the battle. In other words, they lack interactivity compared to other threats.

So, at least for someone like me, yes, I don't want to see them anymore.
