Podolsk Cadets

The Second World War. Autumn 1941. After the fall of Kyiv and Smolensk, there was a real threat of the capture of Moscow by Nazi troops. The capture of Moscow, as the heart of our Motherland, would have been marked by a successful Blitzkrieg and would have greatly undermined the spirit of Soviet citizens. Moscow could not be given to the enemy.
Only 150 kilometers of the Warsaw Highway remained to Moscow. The fortifications under construction around Moscow by this time were not completely ready. No one could have imagined that the German Blitzkrieg would be so lightning fast.
The command of the Red Army made a difficult decision to urgently transfer the cadets of the Podolsky Artillery School and the Podolsky Infantry School to the most dangerous defense area, near the village. Ilinskoye near the city of Maloyaroslavets. These reserves received the general name "Podolsk Cadets". Having received the order to hold the line, about 3,500 18-year-old boys held lines for more than 2 weeks against the vastly superior forces of the Wehrmacht, which were supported by heavy artillery, tanks and aircraft.
About 2,500 young defenders remained forever in those positions.

In this small mod you will find 2 maps - the First Meeting and the frontiers in the village. Ilinskoe. The maps were created on the basis of available photos of that time and partly based on the Russian film "Podolsky Cadets" (2020). Unfortunately, for lack of time, maps are only available to the editor. You won't be able to play them in singleplayer or multiplayer. If there is a craftsman who will agree to write a mission for them, I will be happy to discuss it.
