The Crimian DC Class of locomotives were designed to haul heavy mineral loads (Coal, Iron, etc) across Australia. Built in Ukraine, these locomotives hold both Ukrainian and Australian heritage. Crimian DC locomotives were built on the idea of a “Super Garret”. The systems implemented into these locomotives make them unique - they use electricity more then any other locomotive, radio communications, track switchers. There heavy weight plus the 6-14-14-6 wheel arrangement gives them high traction, allowing for there “Heavy Haul” classification. Holding 4 boilers, 2 for the front, 2 for the back, they can hold out on steam pressure, not losing a bit during full throttle. There complex boiler safety system makes boiler explosions a non existant event for the locomotives.
All 347 locomotives that were produced, none are being planned for scraping, each having a place in railway museums in Australia and Ukraine.

3140, nick named “Wollon”, was the most used locomotive out of the 347 produced. 3140 was the locomotive that was given the privilege of carrying out military service, and hauling the prime minister’s personnel train, now it rests at the Canberra Railway Museum, still being taken care of and even running it’s wheels on the tracks waiting for someone to put it back into service.

Start up:
Open the air valve on top of the locomotive
Hit the breaker
Open valves and engage pumps
Light the firebox
Close steam control valves
Open lock valves

Set reverser to forward or backwards gear and move out

The water injector can be set to how you want it to be but remember - Under 80% - just too fill up boilers, 80 - 100% is optimal running water conditions, and 100% optimal generator conditions.


Shutdown:
Close Lock valves and open steam control valves
Set water injector to 0.25 (25%)
Delight the firebox
Turn off water pumps and coolant pumps
Blowdown steam
Close air valve on top of the locomotive
Wait for all the boiler PSI’s to hit 0 PSI
Turn off steam blowdown
Turn off steam pumps and close valves
Blow the whistles if any steam is still left
Hit the breaker off

Keep the cylinder c o c k s on, - they allow the steam to escape during locomotive usage.

Caution:
Do not high speed the locomotive on tight turns
You can only spawn the locomotive through a mission or an edited workbench
