Description
[gge] Gunslinger
the mod aims to improve the shooters aid and a carrying device for the operator. Slinging the fire arm is a key aspect for realism.

Core Features
  • Slinging weapon on the chest
  • keybinds
  • Swapping weapons faster
  • Looks cool

Current issues
suppressor is not wanting to stay, weapon needs to stick out more, animations, cannot handle some addons due to conflictions, sliding issues when swapping, and keybind issue

re-upload is not allowed of any kind of this mod. I will find it and DMCA the steam workshop item.

The mods around this topic are all problematic The mods are all bugged without any known exceptions.

this mod seems to delete primary weapon when local hosting
it also seems to hilariously conflict with Tier One Weapons mod's scopes, as it will collision damage you until you ragdoll across the map

I'm glad to see another mod taking a swing at this!

So far bugs to mention:
1) primary clips inside body when slung, needs an offset of some sort.
2) When swapping back to primary, one of each grenade in my vest is moved to my uniform . (Have this bug in GGE too)
3) When opening inventory while primary is slung, the placeholder rifle will give a warning message: "Picture equip\w\w_rifle.paa not found". (Bug is also in GGE)

A possible fix for #3 might be creating a child class of the dummy rifle, defining a picture that does exist, and using that class instead.

I don't know how much of your code is based on Goobin's, but one bug I've experienced with GGE's Canting was with the community mission "Dynamic Recon Op". Any time we inserted using helicopter it would break the swap, so that you would never get your primary back from your sling. Only workaround was to rejoin the server, as dying didn't fix it.

needs work. The biggest problem is that It not only does not work with remote-controlled units but seems to prevent them from switching weapons entirely. Cool idea tho, I'd love to come back to this one when its more polished

gun is weighted to spine3, will see what keep can do to extend its reach
