Necronomicon

The Necronomicon is a lightweight Lovecraft Flavour mod for Victoria 3. Featuring cult flavoured IGs, technologies, occult journals and events, it provides extra flavour without disrupting the traditional flow of the game. All of the journals and most disruptive elements can be declined by the player.

The Necronomicon is designed with compatibility in mind, and runs fine with most mods. I avoid editing vanilla files to prevent conflicts with other mods. If a feature doesn't appear to work (such as the Doom Clock) then it is down to how the mods running alongside this are working. You should be able to run the Necronomicon at the bottom of the load order.

I WILL NOT maintain compatches for any mods as I have already done most things I can to ensure maximum compatibility. Feel free to make your own (let me know so I can link it here). If you're a modder, don't hesitate to contact me on Steam about compatibility!


Working with the community, I endeavour to include localization for other languages within the base mod, removing the need for submods. If you want to help us, reach out through Steam.
