Improved Parallax For Scorched Planets

Description
This mod changes the background for Scorched/Decayed planets to more closely match the architectural style of the ruined buildings you encounter. Before, the buildings in the parallax looked more like the buildings that were on Earth, which should not be possible due to the lack of large scale Human settlements outside of the Sol system. This mod also removes the floating pixel that appears in the original Scorched City parallax.


This mod will be incompatible with other mods that modify the images of the Scorched biome parallax, but the incompatibilities should be completely harmless. Since I have not modified the parallax file itself, you may even be able to mix this mod with other mods that change the Scorched City parallax to get whatever results you desire.


Your suggestions and ratings would be much appreciated, as I may work on this mod or a similar one in the future with your feedback in mind.

I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed the mod! I was just thinking last week that this mod might have an odd effect on other mods' parallaxes, but thankfully it sounds like things are working just fine.

Wonderful work, thank you! A note to others who use mods that add new planets: if other planets utilize the Scorched City parallax images, this mod will also apply to them. For example, Cyber Sphere planets from FU and Viridescent planets from Arcana. It is a positive change - the parallax images from this mod go better with the examples I noted. I've yet to see a case where the old Scorched City parallax is preferable.
