NPCs attack and kill themselves when trying to fight off enemies. My Confused Zombie (from Thorium) is especially prone to killing himself with his own projectiles. QAQ Otherwise, this mod is extremely useful! No more annoying and accidental summonings of the Wall of Flesh when I'm in the middle of building and looting. XD

how do i craft one into the guide voodoo doll?

@stormytuna Petrified voodoo doll doesn't have any effect on the Skeleton Merchant. Can only kill him with the Flymeal sword.

Some things I found. I can't seem to kill the Skeleton Merchant even with this accessory in the correct slot. Also are NPCs immune to debuffs like fire? Cause I tried the flamethrowers on them.
I notice my game tends to freeze temporarily since I installed this mod, though it could be because I just downloaded and played right away. I need to test it again and see if it happens after launching again.

Also might be a little idea to allow to have the Petrified Voodoo doll work even in vanity slots or with favoriting. It's an option but just suggesting.

But despite all that this mod seems to be working as intended. I'm mostly hurting the NPCs with this because I've been trying to do roleplay as an evil empire committing war crimes. Thanks for helping my villain playthroughs be possible.

Game breaking bug:
This mod lets enemies hit themselves and others with piercing projectiles.
Not sure if it's just this mod, but when I disabled this it's fixed.

i have a mod (i think it may be calamity) that increases voodoo demon spawn rate before killing wof, so this mod is useful to me so i dont get obliterated by wof when i'm trying to get hellstone
