Mystic DSV Deep Sea Rescue Submarine

This is a recreation of the US Navy rescue submarine Mystic DSV. It entered service in 1977, when the need for a deep sea rescue submarine became clear after the loss of the USS Thresher. It can be deployed anywhere in the world within 24 hours via cargo plane. It can also be deployed from the back of a host submarine (usually a Los-Angeles- or Virginia-class SSN), which carries it to the location. This also saves battery charge, since the Mystic DSV is conventionally powered.

Features:
-small hydrodynamic sail, enter by pressing button in front of the sail. Exit by using the handle located over the hatch and pull yourself onto the pipes under the hatch, then jump out
-Manual Depth Control (W/S) or Depth Hold via Keypad
-Ruder left/Right (A/D)
-fill ballast to 2550 l for neutral buoyancy
-Forward Camera with display and Spotlight
-Magnetic rescue hatch for connecting to sunken submarines and transfering casualties
-seats for 10 passengers
-use this in conjunction with a larger host ship or submarine to save battery power and get faster to the location
