Kriger Class 750 4-6-2 Steam Electric Locomotive

Description
UPDATE(S):
Raised coupler height to fit with cars from the workshop
Added Low Coal indicator

Introduction

One of the last Steam locomotive to be retired is now back in action! The Kriger Class 750 has had one of the longest career dating back to the 1960's all the way to the 1990's when it was retired. Due to the recent changes in the world of Stormworks, Kriger is bringing back this marvel of engineering.

The Class 750 is a Steam Electric locomotive. This means it is driven by both steam and electric motors! With excellent pulling capabilities and very good speed, this machine can go the distance without needing water nor coal nor batteries to be recharged. The only limit is the conductor needing a rest!

Information

  • Maximum speed with only the tender: 60km/h
  • Water on the locomotive: 11 000liters
  • Water on board the tender: around 10 000liters
  • Coal in the firebox: 50
  • Coal in the tender: 1250
  • Water pump for firefighting on board the Tender
  • Plenty of tools for maintenance
  • Remote track switcher equipped

Operation

  • Spawn the locomotive, climb aboard, flip the main breaker
  • Light up the firebox
  • Wait for the generator to generate electricity
  • Turn on lights as needed
  • Move the locomotive outside the spawn zone
  • Spawn in the tender
  • Back the locomotive to the tender until the couplers connect
  • Connect the electric cable from the locomotive to the tender
  • You're ready to go!
  • Steam Governor is for throttle, Brakes is for brakes, Reverser Key is for reversing
  • If for whatever reason you want to drain the water or the steam, there are valves for that on the side of the locomotive

Raised the coupler height. It fits with multiple cars from the workshop. That dev train doesn't seem to fit with other cars from the workshop so I decided to go with highest compatibility.

@Burnout Bob regarding a 4-8-0 loco, I'll look into it

To be honest, I haven't checked on a Dev train in so long that I'm not sure they even use it anymore? Are the even any dev train missions anymore? They really should add a locomotive to the preset options.
