What Are They Worth? (achievement guide)
De anxy
This guide is to give a few pointers on how to unlock the achievement "What Are They Worth?"
The guide will give you the requirements for each bottle cap and the chapter each shooting range is on just in case you don't know.
It is fairly easy to achieve and hopefully this guide will help a few of you who are struggling to unlock it.

Please be sure to let me know if I left anything out. Thanks!

What you need to do
What I recommend is to not even worry about this achievement until you reach chapter 5-1 because that is when you unlock the final game type in the shooting range.
-for more on the shooting range game types, see the next section-

All you need to do is play each game type twice once to hit all the targets and a second time to score 3,000 or more points. For exact bottle cap requirements, see the third section.

So all you need to do is;
  • Select game type
  • Hit all targets on that game type
  • Score at least 3,000 points on that game type
  • Rinse and repeat for all game types

You will unlock the achievement when you turn in your guns to the merchant
The Shooting Range & Game Types
In order to obtain each bottle cap, you need to have each game type (A,B,C,D) unlocked.
The shooting ranges can be found near merchants throughout the game.

You get access to more game types as you progress through the game.

  • Game type A is unlocked in chapter (3-1)
  • Game type B is unlocked in chapter (4-1)
  • Game type C is unlocked in chapter (4-2)
  • Game type D is unlocked in chapter (5-1)
Bottle cap requirements
For each bottle cap, you must do a specific task in a certain game type to obtain them all.

-note: scores may not be the exact amount of score needed but, if you do one run of just making sure you shoot all the targets and another run just scoring 3,000 or more points, you will get all bottle caps.

You are able to collect all 24 caps in any of the ranges from 5-1 and on.

old post, but i agree with X8G7, you don't need 4,000 points. It's actually pointless to even achieve it. All you need to do is hit all the targets, in fact, the total amount of points is almost completely irrelevant. I've achieved all 6 bottle caps in a single area in two runs. the first run was 24/25 targets that netted me 4 bottle caps and then the second run was the last two by hitting all targets and i don't even remember if i actually did 3,000 points. that's it. the bottle caps are such easy shit. the TMP is the only thing i ever used.

@X8G7 really? that salty emoticon? I am right regardless? @Evil is right you are extremely arrogant. I read a lot of forums and I see this "J.J. : 4000 or more points in Game D. Hit all targets but Ashley" this is refering to get 4000 points but while hitting all the targets excluding Ashley, do you not get it? Headshotting the ganados give you 100 points but with headshotting females, 200 and Salazar's head is 500, it's easy to hit all the targets and get 4000 points. But it is also seemingly impossible to score 4000 while getting all the targets. So techinically Onyx is right. Just score 4000.

Or means two options @X8G7, you're pretty much of an arrogant imbecile
