[DEPRECATED] North American Boxcars

Description
These are now included in the base game and no longer need to be downloaded. I'm leaving them on the workshop for now to prevent any disrupted saves.

This is a set of three post-war/mid-century North American box cars. The first two are 40 ft (12m) and 50ft (15m) variants of the Pullman-Standard PS-1s. The third is an American Car and Foundry 50ft box car.

PS-1 40ft:
  • Years: 1947-1962
  • Weight 19 t
  • Capacity: 44 tons

PS-1 50ft:
  • Years: 1949-1968
  • Weight 27 t
  • Capacity: 62 tons

ACF 50ft:
  • Years: 1969-1983
  • Weight 28 t
  • Capacity: 71 tons

Skins are a variety of basic colors based on real world examples. All three originate in the United States and are available for USD. Listed capacity based on crops, other cargo capacities will be lower numbers like the all other covered hulls in the game.

Thanks to AlexDad and LovelyPL for the guides.

If you'd like to see another vehicle made, feel free to leave any suggestions. I'll be focusing (mostly) on Western vehicles that have been exported to Eastern Europe, and older equipment to help make early starts more fleshed out, especially pre-1960.

Very nice. As for suggestions, what about some Budd RDCs or the French version thereof(the X 2051); or if yer willing to do something that wasent really seen anywhere at all outside the US, howabout some Metroliners or Silverliners?
For locos, the Alco RSD-1 might be worth looking at, as being delivered to the Soviets as part of lend-lease and then reverse engineered and copied, or the Baldwin 0-6-6-0 1000. The Alco MRS-1 might also be worth looking at as an interesting "what-if", as a loco designed to be able to be used in Russia, or near anywhere else for that matter.
