Half-Timbered Walls

Description
I was looking for some half-timbered walls to use in my medieval base recently, but I couldn't really find what I was after. I decided to make my own. Several days later, here we are!

This is a simple mod that adds some new medieval-styled half-timbered walls, infilled with wattle and daub. There are 5 whitewash/paint colours, each with four variations of half-timbering. The "timber" is actually stuffable with both wood and metal. Try mods like "Vanilla Furniture Expanded Architect", "More Trees" or "Extended Woodworking" for additional wood materials to use.

These walls come with all the advantages and disadvantages of their real-world equivalents (compared to a solid wall):

Advantages
Disadvantages
- Cheaper (less stuffable material)
- Weaker
- Slightly beautiful (+2)
- More flammable
- Looks cool idk
- Requires haygrass farm
- Takes longer to build

REQUIREMENTS IN-GAME:
To build them, you'll need the "Complex Furniture" research, some hay, and whatever woody or metallic material you choose. If you have Medieval Overhaul installed, they will use straw instead of hay and also require "Food Preservation".

NOTE:
The textures should all line up pretty well, though there are some slight problems. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to art. I am personally happy with the textures, but I recommend you take a look at the pictures and see if you like them or not before downloading. If you notice any significant issues then do tell me.

ISSUES I KNOW ABOUT:
The icons' mask textures aren't working in-game. I can't work this one out - if you know what's going on please tell me.

LICENSE:
The textures took me quite a few hours to get right, so don't just rip them for your own mod, another game, or anything of the sort without getting permission from me first. If you ask I'll probably give it to you.

To be honest you can probably do better ones yourself anyway.

This looks really cool, I'm looking forward to V2 whenever you find time for it.

Ohh that sounds great! I'll be patiently waiting

@miliyx I've been thinking about making a V2 of this mod with better textures and this is actually one of the things I'm looking into. By default when you paint something it changes the colour of the stuffable parts, but it might be possible to separate the stuffable and paintable parts. It'll need some testing. Will also mean I can do away with the new menu/category for it because there'll be only 4 walls in total. Two birds with one stone!

Idk when this new version will be out though to be honest.

Was wondering if you could make the walls paintable instead of having each color as an option

Check out Outland. It's the only mod I found that does it so far. Should be mandatory for mods tbh, vanilla menus become unusable with too many mods.

No need to apologise my friend!

I don't really know either but I will definitely keep in mind to look for it. If I find something, I'll let you know! Thanks for your mod, much appreciated, really!

Sorry all, I forgot I needed to look into that. Adding like 25 new walls to the structure category isn't an option so I need some sort of drop down menu. Does anyone have an example of a drop down menu within one a category? I don't know how to do it and I can't think of any off the top of my head...

They look nice, but did you really have to create a new tab in the architect menu just for these?

Thanks. I second Fartsparkles, would be nice if there wasn't an extra category.

A very beatiful mod it is exactly what i was looking for. Although i would prefer a version without an extra category in the architect menu. A single wall in the structure category with a dropdown menu would be nice and slim.
