Now Updated for 1.4.4

More Critters aims to add several passive creatures to Terraria's biomes. All new critters are catchable and are craftable into Terrariums unless stated otherwise.

-Critters-

(NEW) Axolotl
-Spawns anywhere in underground and cavern layers
-Only spawns in water
-Can be placed in both terrariums and bowls

Rattlesnake
-Spawns in desert surface

Snowy Owl
-Spawns in snow surface
-Only spawns during nighttime

Monkey
-Spawns in the jungle surface

Cow
-Spawns on grass in the forest
-Only spawns during daytime
-Much more common close to the edges of the world
-No Terrarium compatability currently

Trufflet
-Spawns in surface and underground glowing mushroom biome
-Terrarium provides a slight amount of light

Lizard
-Spawns in forest, jungle, and desert surface
-Below average spawn rate


Config file included for adjusting spawnrates for each individual critter. Individual critters can be disabled as well.

it would be cool to add cellar spider critters that appear in a house randomly and be found underground also can be very common to find

Oh! also, when I break any of the animal cages/terrariums to pick them back up, it duplicates into two!

I love this mod so much. One thing I noticed though is that the cages can't be stood on / stacked like vanilla cages? If that ever gets tweaked that would be cool. Otherwise one of my favorite ambient mods.

Speaking of meat from my previous comment. Might be a nice option to include some drops or food crafting recipes for specific critters in this mod where appropriate. Like kill or cooking Cow = beef or ribs etc. It's just an option but not necessary.
