Foolish mortals who venture into the lands of the dead soon realise their error, For Nehekhara is anything but dead and its rulers are ready to smite any and all trespassers.

Hello and welcome back, it is the time of IE and my first tweaking mod for races is here.

This is a very close to vanilla experience mod with some minor tweaks to make the Tomb King experience better!


Highlights:

Khalida's True Blessing of Asaph, the upgrade of her passive ability, now gives map wide benefits rather than slightly higher values at a 35 meter aura. This is to make her not feel tied to her back line and give her freedom of movement as she is first and foremost a melee fighter.


Carrions have been added to the red skill line tree, both the normal upgrades and the Rank 7 elite one, as well as a stronger tech for them to make them more appealing. As an addition to this, the Campaign Only RoR Flock of Djaf Carrions have had their canopic jar cost reduced from 100 Jars to 30 to make them more appealing and not feel like a "Jar Trap" as i've heard others compare them to. They also now have the same Melee Defence as a normal Rank 9 Carrion unit, raised from 46 to 57.

Some minor changes in the Mortuary Cult items:
*Made the Amulet of Pha-Stah repeatable just like the other epic items, but for a higher Canopic Jar price (400 instead of 300) to compensate the fact that it is slightly better than the other epic items in the MC.

*Made Nefarras Scroll of Mighty Incantations into a rare item, upgraded from an uncommon item, with 2 uses of its ability rather than 1. It has also increased in price, from 100 jars and 2 trade goods to 200 jars and 3 trade goods to keep it in line with other rare items of the same quality.

Some of the Unique/Epic Items tied to Legendary Lords have been buffed, to make them something you'll not replace with an uncommon/rare item:

*Venom Staff now gives +80 AP damage, up from 40
*The Blessed Blade of Ptra now gives +12% weapon strength, up from 10%
*The Liche Staff now also gives +10 to your winds of magic capacity

I'm glad you are still updating your mod with new ideas! One thing I noticed, is it intentional that Dune Riders, the level 7+ cavalry and chariot red skill, no longer gives any resistances?

Updated today, it worked with 6.1 but ive also made some tweaks here and there.


The tech that gives Nehekharan Warriors +15 AP damage at the cost of 15 base damage has been tweaked down a bit, the change is now +10 AP -10 Base.


Grand Hierophant Khatep has a new factionwide effect that makes it so his Screaming Skull Catapults and Casket of Souls do not harm his own troops. The premier Liche Priest knows the innermost secrets of using souls in battle.


Will look over my changes and make alterations as i see fit going forward.

Small update with 5.1:

The Hexwraiths that Arkhan the Black get access to weren't buffed accordingly like their host unit from Vampire Counts were in this patch. This has been rectified.

Also the mod has been updated!

Settra now gives the Glorious Charge attribute to any Skeleton Chariot units in his army with the "Trampler of Ages" skill.

The Tomb Prince hero's mutually exclusive skills have gotten some additional effects:

*Restock has been added to the "Royal Lieutenant" skill

*A small -5% winds of magic cost reduction for the hero's army has been added to the "Cultist Prince" skill, replacing the Fire Resistance effect that used to be there.

*The "Heir of the Chariot King" skill has a slightly stronger leadership aura size increase as well as a stronger leadership effect bonus (from +25% size and +5 leadership to +40% size and +8 leadership).

Awesome mod. Thank you for the map wide true blessing of Asaph. Idk what CA was thinking making a duelist lord ability have a 35m range. It was pitiful but now amazing with this mod!
