Bretonnia IE Speed Update

Description
Current Version: deprecated

As of the launch of Immortal Empires Beta, Bretonnian warhorses are slower than The Empire's and just as fast as Kislev's bears and Ogres' cav. This mod gave a straight +12 speed for all Bretonnian warhorses to serve loreful justice. Bretonnian horses are supposed to be the finest steeds after all.

The Vanilla caught up to this mod, updating the speed of the horses. Hence, this mod is retired/deprecated and will not be updated anymore.

Hi,

Yes, it is not updated in a while. Vanilla caught up to the mod so it is not needed anymore. This will not be further updated as vanilla has caught up.

I tried this mod recently for the first time in forever. I see no difference from vanilla. I guess that due to the fact that it is not updated, it doesn't work anymore?

I dont really know anything about modding WF3 but couldnt you in theory make the speed upgrade dependent on a skill that all bretonnian lords come with when you recruit them? like some also start with barded horses. This way it would automatically be compatible with other mods outside of custom and multiplayer battles.

Yes it does! This mod changes the speed of the vanilla Bretonnian warhorses, and there is no way I can modify this new mount of hers. The best way to approach this would be to ask Lily for the requested changes. I am afraid that in this case there is no compatibility I can work on.

She made new mounts for them? Wow I never thought about that, maybe that makes this mod difficult to be compatible with hers lol.

@mgsanm @niuxia1997 It doesn't work for those two units because Lily made new custom mount for each of them; one that, if I understand it correctly, is supposed to give them a lore-appropriate edge over the non-grail Bretonnian horses.

Hi, is it possible for you to make it compatible with Lily's Bretonnia overhaul mod?

It work with her mod previously but currently this does not work only for grail knights and grail guardians in her mod after an update.

This mod overrides the table "battle_entities_tables". It is therefore incompatible with any other mod that uses the same table. That could cause the issue you mention, @JOI
