How to change your name in DayZ

Steam Launcher

If you launch DayZ using steam you'll want to first open the launcher, On the left panel of the screen you'll see News, Parameters, Mods, Battleye, and Servers. Click on "Parameters"

From there you'll see "Profile name" change that from Survivor to your new name. Next time you play you will have a new name!

SALauncher

If you're using SALauncher to launch DayZ and you want to change your name. First open SALauncher and at the top right corner you'll see Support, Donate and Settings, click on Settings!

In the section that says "In-game name" erase Survivor and enter your preferred name, close the panel and next time you play your name will be your chosen name :)
