5v5 Control [CP Example]

cp_5v5

A map designed for control point gamemode.
The map can also be played in 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 scenarios.
The minimum number of players is 4. Bot support is currently not present.

This map is a modern take on Valve's control point gamemode from 2013.

How to run the map:
map workshop\2849451934\cp_5v5 custom
mp_warmup_end

How to play:
- Hold both control points at the same time and advance into new territory.
- Earn one victory point per area under control.
- Win the game by having more victory points when time runs out.
- Win the game immediately by capturing the enemy base.
- Earn cash for each area your team controls and for each kill.
- Spend cash in the weapons store to buy better equipment.

i also used/fixed valve's control point assets a while ago im glad to see someone actually use it properly

one thing i would suggest is different paths for some of these control points as they're pretty linear rn, maybe take a look at the layout of some of the TF2 5CP maps

also, you should make a doorway where teleport is because my friends could not figure out how to get to the level

Thanks, feedback is always appreciated! Agreed, a respawn cooldown would be a good addition. May come in a future version. Also it would be way more fun if the map had bot support. But I haven't had time to deal with bot navigation yet. For now, actual players are needed.

good map, but i have a feedback about bots, you can do like when you die you need to wait 15-20 seconds to respawn and you should look at instertion and aim rogue map (randomly generated map) i dont think this will really help you, i hope it does because it would be fun play on this map with bots
