Elves of Stellaris Gigastructures Art Pack

Description
Tired of having your glorious interstellar Elven kingdom being forced to use plain old mammalian ringworlds in Gigastructures? Well I for one, as someone who often uses the ships from Elves of Stellaris very much dislike having to use industrial looking monstrosities. Even more frustrating is that the Gigastructures mod uses it's own ringworld setup basically preventing any custom ringworld models from being used without a patch like this, and for fans of Elves of Stellaris, the Elven ringworld is certainly a beautiful model that should not be missed out on when running it with Gigastructures.

Because of this, I have taken the time to work through the ringworld segments from the popular mod Elves of Stellaris to work with all ringworld sizes in Gigastructures. In addition to that I also took the effort to add some uniqueness to a many of the other megastructures from Gigas as well!

List of Megastructures Given an Elven Re-Skin:

Note: Obviously you will need to be using either the Elven, Dark Elven or Ilythiiri shipsets in order for the following megas/gigas to have these appearances.

Vanilla
All vanilla megastructures that do not have an official re-skin for the Elven shipset have been provided a temporary one here until an official one is created by Team Necessity.

Additional Notes and Credits:

At this point, the plan very much is to give the Elves a unique appearance for everything that can be built in the Gigastructures mod, as well as to add in temporary unique appearances for some of the vanilla structures that have yet to be covered by base EOS (at least until the "art department" at Team Necessity creates official models).

Just a disclaimer however that at the moment my knowledge of 3D modeling is very basic so what you will be getting here are mostly kit-bashed models using assets from Elves of Stellaris though I am making every effort to ensure that the final result of these structures are as clean and well-made as possible.

In addition to that I would like to give a shout-out to corsairmarks who made a couple of mods for the Machine Shipset's ringworlds to work with Gigas which I originally based my files off of (though now due to changes in the way ringworlds are set up in Gigas, these mods are no longer compatible). If there is something out there that really catches my attention the same way the shipset from Elves of Stellaris has, then maybe. But for right now there are no plans besides a couple megastructure skins being added to some of my own Star Wars sets (though I have contemplated the possibility of at least doing a Gigastructures comparability patch for the Asari ringworld).

No worries, it's actually good that you brought this to my attention as I am not really into Stellaris at the moment, though this will change when 4.0 releases as I really like what I see there. All my mods are in maintain only mode for the time being.

But once I get back to modding when 4.0 comes out I will very much be finishing what remains of the elven re-skins needed here as all that does remain are a few of the more complex gigas. Though I am more interested in doing the Big Vat and the Alderson Disk first (but the Maginot Ringworld shouldn't be too much trouble either).

If you ever feel like it adding to the structures again, Id appreciate a look at the Maginot Ring World! Alderson Disk and Frameworld would also be cool but especially the latter I can imagine is a lot of work, so I wouldn't expect it.

Well this is beyond embarrassment for me as a modder. I thought I had this one updated already! My sincere apologies to everyone here, I assure you this won't happen again!

Well... it's updated now, and with a full test of all re-skins in this mod as well. The only structures that needed fixing were the macroengineering testing site and the terraforming megastructures. Surprisingly the attack moon, planetcraft and elysium work perfectly fine despite the past comments.

Looks like I am going to have to go though everything in a test game, I will see if I can get a fix out this weekend.
