A reimagining of the classic TF2 map pl_minepit from 2009, originally created by cdsand. With their permission I've re-artpassed the map to fit TF2's artstyle in a way that makes it looks straight out of 2009, I chose the desert theme because of that. I have also made a number of adjustments to the logic and layout hopefully make it play a bit better.

Pit is a tiny single stage 4 point payload map. Control over the middle building is key to deciding who will win.

I re-artpassed this map because I'm very nostalgic for it, and a lot of older players may be too, also to introduce this map to younger players with a new coat of paint

ahhh i'm heartbroken I thought this was what the Coal Pit map was that was added today. I'm guessing the actual coal pit is just a reskin of gravelpit 🙄

Okay but seriously though, absolutely fantastic job converting such a nostagic map into TF2's artsyle. I think this really goes to show how even just a new coat of paint on a familiar layout can really make it shine like new in it's own unique way.

I never seen this one coming, It feels so weird to see this map layout with a typical TF2 theme.
This just makes a uncanny thoughts of how other maps would be if it would be an actual map or the other way around.

Thank you for the nostalgia trip!
