My favorite military unit: Army Rangers

In August 1993, elements of 3rd Ranger Battalion, deployed to Somalia to assist United Nations forces attempting to bring order to the chaotic and starving nation. On October 3, 1993, the Rangers conducted a daylight raid with Delta Force. For nearly 18 hours, the Rangers delivered devastating firepower, killing an estimated 600 Somalis.
The Battle of Mogadishu, more commonly referred to as Black Hawk Down or, locally, as the Day of the Rangers (Somali language: Maalintii Rangers ), was part of Operation Gothic Serpen

Rangers didn't modify BDUs to locate pouches on the arms on 1993, and the Equipement looks like and Eagle Industries H Harness rather than the classic ALICE gear. This looks more like 75th Ranger Regiment in Iraq 2003

a very sad day, so many civilians killed by soldiers with itchy trigger fingers.

I feel that it was around this time when the usa began ignoring what was best for its people and began to randomly "intervene".

At least with vietnam there was a reason but here is where we just went and caused chaos.

I hope we can go back to the good ol' days when we made friends instead of enemies.
