Description
Want to amuse, entertain, or terrify your server? Why not add spiders that you can barely see? Or spiders made out of lava?

This mod contains two things: "ghostly" spiders and "ghostly" pet spiders that are... ghosts. These spiders share the same stats, damage, loot tables, etc as normal spiders.

** These spiders must be spawned via a spawner (such as the Pippi NPCSpawner), manually spawned or created as pets. This mod does NOT affect base-game spiders.**

Note: Shimmering egg sacs are used for Ghostly Spider pets. They follow the same recipe, food and other requirements as the normal spider pets.
Note: These spiders will NOT replace existing spiders in the world. Admins must place them manually.

Admins: Due to the nature of the mod, adding screenshots seems like a silly concept. Feel free to download and test on single player. The "lava" spiders don't work properly, but the ghost do, and those are the key use of the mod. I will fix the other spider eventually.

This mod does not affect the base game, at all.

Currently the only mod I know that can help you spawn in the world is Pippi with NPCSpawners, but that mod may be problematic since the guy running it is no longer working on it.

Hello when you say that the mod pee npc spawner, it can remove the spiders from the game?
Because I have this mod but I never used it NPC spawner, because I do not know it.

My other (Treasures) mod has been tested and seems unaffected by 3.0. I have a thing to do for the server I play on and don't really want the hassle of testing this one, but since this one is arguably 10x simpler than Treasures it should also remain unaffected.

If you load it after the patch and have issues, please ping me here. I do check daily and will update it if it's actually a problem. That said, please make sure it's this mod and not one of your others causing it before alerting me. Thanks!

My mods never modify base files, as a rule. This mod does not affect base spiders, it allows you to spawn the modded spiders. Pippi NPC Spawners are good for this.

it touches the original spiders in the game? the spiders in the game are much smaller, because they are huge in the game, I don't even dare to go into the caves.

I could do tiny, almost invisible spiders! They wouldn't hurt any less but they could be itty-bitty. What do the rest of you think?

I can have spiders and I scream when I see one in this game because they are huge, I thought it would be a mod so that they are less horrible or that it hides their eyes and legs like on the game Grounded
