Divide et Impera - No Seleucid Satrapies

Descrizione
This submod for Divide et Impera removes the Seleucid Satrapies and gives all their territory to the Seleucid Empire.

How it works:

1. Check your load order: This Mod needs to be above the DeI parts.
2. Start a new campaign - you will now have all your former satrapies territory.
3. End the first turn - your former Satrapies' armies will be removed.
4. Have fun!

If you use this while not playing the Seleucids yourself, please be aware that big AI factions tend to become very passive.

Yea, unfortunately any mods that contain scripts have to be made compatible.
In theory it is very simple, you only need to open the mods you're using with packfilemanager or rustedpackfilemanager and
1. look up the names of the scripts from each mod (found under lua_scripts) e.g. the one for this mod is "SeleucidBorders"
2. go to the scripting.lua file found under campaigns>main_rome in one of the mods and add all of them at the end of the script like this:
local SeleucidBorders = require "lua_scripts.SeleucidBorders"
3. make sure to have the mod you edited like this on top of your load order

Pretty simple to do but you need to know which mods you're using and want to be compatible - that's why I can't just make it work with all possible mods out there

Ok i tested it many times and i can confirm, this mod doesn´t work with No Supply Mod for DEI or No Supply No Population also from DEI and if you put this mod above them, they dont work.

If it doesn't work for some of you try putting it higher up in the load order, think I have it sitting at 3 right now, I had it sitting at think 8 before and it didn't work so again, I would recommend just having it higher.

aaand thank you a LOT your mod is great tho. But i need to remove the terrible supplies system of DEI wich is not only bugged but also works only for the player letting AI to keep sending his armies into seas.
Like Numidians (they dont even posses a Port) going from their desert travel into carthage lands, then into the seas and go straight to rome and besiege it.
While you playing as carthage need a fleet for going from carthage to sicily wich is just there on few km...

do you believe is it possible to fix that in some way (except removing one)?
Askar 13 ott 2024, ore 19:13
ok the problem is the No Supplies Sub Mod of DEI, for some reason.
It doesn´t work with it.

wait, maybe is my fault then. I´ill make some tests and try to remove my other mods and see if something changes. could be that.

@Askar could you give me a bit more context? I just tested it and it works for me.

I was afraid it wasn't working for some reason, then I had the thought to end the turn (duh) and it does.

I could kiss you. Thank you!!
