MNLAV-21 Pathfinder-class Light Attack Vehicle

Did you ever want to have a massive oversized dune buggy that handles well on almost all terrain, has a high powered autocannon, and is decently armoured? That is exactly what the LAV used by the Coalition in Deserts of Kharak is.

Here is a bit of lore from the Homeworld Fandom:

"LAV type were some of the first motorized war machines to see service on the sands of Kharak. The ability to move fast, hit hard and retreat even faster was vital to mechanized warfare and no Kiith understood those qualities better than the Manaan. Their LAV design won the coalition light vehicle competition when five Pathfinders entered the test area at full speed, then kicked in their overspeed boosters and struck the Naabal candidate vehicles with enough simulated concentrated firepower to rate them destroyed before the announcer had finished announcing the opposing forces." — Expedition Guide

This one has been tested on and handles fairly well. Be aware it is big compared to most combat vehicles in brick rigs. YOU WIll BE A TARGET ON COMBAT SERVERS! Use your mobility to negate that advantage that normally would be theirs, and don't be afraid of going on the rough terrain. The gun is fairly good at remaining stable while moving, even on irregular terrain. You can go a lot of place other 4 wheeled vehicles tip over, struggle to get up, or simply just cant go over or up without having major problems. If you need to, there is the afterburners that can be used to get up the really steep stuff.

Please use prudence while driving; this vehicle can do amazing things if find out the nuances of driving it, and will offer you a off road capability you will find with few other vehicles.

Controls:
- 2 mode driving(regular and alt mode).
- Afterburners are turned on and off with K(Hazard light)
- Drive and shoot system for alt mode.
- Horizontal stabilizer can be turned off and on with X(Disable Steering). Turret will return to standard position if stabilizer is turned off.
- Invert steering(Hold X) for spotlight.
- Headlights are standard.


Notes:
- Has buttons on doors.
- Top speed of 68 mph.
- Goes up to 105+ Mph with afterburners. You have about 63 seconds of burn time.
- Can use the afterburners to get up steep slopes.
- Bullet proof windows.
- Be mindful of your higher center of balance.
- If you keep track of your wheels, there are a lot of rolls that can be either avoided, or recovered from.
- The brakes are essential for the jumping. Learn how to use them, and you can have a lot of fun!
- Decent armour and durability.
- Drive and shoot system with horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
- The + sign is exactly where the gun will hit, except at longer ranges which is typical with any gun, especially one with a short barrel.
