👾 Gameplay settings 👾
The first set of settings are gameplay settings. These settings are mainly related to the appearance of the UI, the map, damage feedback, and other special feature settings. There are too many different settings here, so I will talk about just the most important ones

SETTING: GAME

Interact Prompt Style
Compact
Button Hints
On
Damage Numbera
Stacking
Ping Opacity
Faded
Obituaries
On
Minimap Rotating
On
Autocycle Guns
On
Incoming Damage Feedback
3D

The interactive tooltip style option displays more or less information about the items on the floor, depending on what you choose. I recommend setting it to "compact" for more experienced players, as it greatly reduces visual clutter and leaves it "default" if you are new to Apex Legends

The sight damage recall only displays an "X" when hitting an enemy. However, you can reduce some visual clutter by turning it off and using the damage numbers instead. If you set the damage values to "total," it will automatically add the total damage you deal to the enemy

Other settings, such as mini-map rotation, ping opacity, automatic weapon cycle when empty, and incoming damage feedback, are mostly based on your personal preferences

The automatic gun discharge cycle can be very useful in clutch situations. If this feature is enabled, it automatically switches to another weapon when you run out of ammo. Also, the incoming damage feedback gives you a general idea of where you are being shot at

Other settings not listed above can be left by default if you do not want to use additional settings, such as colorblind mode and text-to-speech conversion
🖥️ Video/Graphics Settings 🖥️
Changing video and graphics settings can greatly affect FPS and performance in the game. The video settings are probably the most important settings to adjust. No matter how good your aiming sensitivity or keyboard shortcuts are, it's useless if your video settings are too high and you slow down during the game

Here are some of the best Apex Legends video settings you should try

Display mode
Full Screen
Aspect Ratio
(Own)
Resolution
(Own)
Brightness
50%
Field of View (FOV)
110
FOV Ability Scaling
Enabled
Sprint View Shaking
Minimal

The display mode should always be set to full screen. When you play with a window setting without margins, background applications can consume system resources and potentially reduce the frame rate in Apex.

For both aspect ratio and resolution, it is recommended that you follow your monitor's own settings. My monitor has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 1920 x 1080, so I use these settings. But be sure to double-check, as you may use a different monitor.

Field of View (FOV) is one of the most important settings in the game. A higher FOV gives you a wider view. It is recommended to get it to 110, and most pros don't lower it below 100. It puts more information on your screen and makes movement in the game smoother and faster.

Finally, sprint mode. Shake depends on your personal preference. I recommend setting it to minimum because in normal mode your screen shakes a lot, making it harder to see objects and enemies while running.
🎮 Mouse/keyboard and controller settings 🎮
Next we have the mouse/keyboard and controller settings, containing sensitivity, key combinations, vibration and other motion settings. While most of the settings in this section should be based on personal preference, I will still give you some recommendations on finding the best Apex Legends settings for you

The best Apex Legends sensitivity settings

First, let's talk about targeting sensitivity. Apex is a dynamic game in which you need to aim both horizontally and vertically. This usually requires faster or higher aiming sensitivity than in tactical shooters such as CS: GO and Valorant. However, you can still convert the aiming sensitivity in Valorant as a baseline and make changes from there

Alternatively, you can also use eDPI pro as a good baseline. eDPI or effective points per inch is the best way to measure sensitivity in a game. It better describes your actual mouse sensitivity by multiplying the DPI of the mouse by the sensitivity in the game

The average eDPI of Apex Legends pros is around 1400, and the average ADS sensitivity is 1. This is a great place to start, especially if you don't know what sensitivity to use

It's also best to leave additional mouse settings, such as mouse inverting and mouse acceleration, turned off. They are not very helpful and can do your target more harm than good

On the other hand, it is perfectly fine for controller players to have a sensitivity of 3 to 5 with the same ADS sensitivity. Dead zone of gaze and dead zone of movement should be set to "small" unless you have bad controller sticks
🖥️ Advanced Video Settings 🖥️

In the advanced settings, we have all the Apex graphics settings. The quick and easy answer here is to simply set everything to the lowest possible values. This is usually done in most competitive games to get the best possible performance

Most professional Apex Legends players agree that setting it low is the best way to maximize performance and visibility

>Be sure to turn off vertical sync, as it can potentially lower your FPS. Also, if you have an NVidia graphics card, be sure to experiment with the NVidia Reflex setting. Choosing Enabled or Enabled + Boost usually depends on your hardware, so be sure to try both options

Also, if you think the game looks ugly at low settings, you can try increasing the texture streaming budget. This improves the quality a bit and doesn't reduce performance much. Just make sure you have enough video memory on your GPU
🎼 The best sound settings in Apex Legends 🎼
Последняя вкладка содержит настройки звука. Звук в игре должен быть достаточно громким и четким, так как он может дать вам много информации, которую вы можете использовать в своих интересах

Master Volume
100%
Voice Chat Record Mode
Push to Talk
Sound Effects Volume
100%
Dialogue Volume
60%
Music volume
20% / 0%
Lobby Music Volume
20% / 0%

These are the basic settings you want to change. Some settings, such as music volume and lobby music volume, depend on personal preference. Personally, I think both are too loud, so I turn them all the way up

Your main volume and sound effects volume should always be at 100% so you can hear things like footsteps, gunshots, explosions, and ability beeps. You can also turn down the volume of the dialogues a bit, as it's not very important to the game

Finally, turn on the PTT feature. You should only talk when you give useful information and let your teammates hear the game. If you're playing with friends, you can also just use a good headset for Discord and communicate with them there
Conclusion
These settings will certainly help improve FPS and gameplay, but they won't help you instantly become an Apex Predator. You need to use different aiming exercises, practice techniques, master the different abilities of each legend, and put in some effort.

These were some of the best Apex Legends settings you can use. Most of these settings are based on what professional Apex Legends players use and recommend. However, it's best to use the settings, especially aim sensitivity and keyboard shortcuts, that you're most comfortable with.

Lowering your texture streaming budget is a horrible decision since now it has to manage loading from HDD to VRAM instead of everything being in vram all the time so i have seen worse performance on None rather than the appropriate vram option.

always disable fov ability scaling
