Dornier Do-335 Pfeil

Description

Detailed recreation of the German prototype from WW2. The Do 335 Pfeil ("Arrow") was designed as a heavy fighter. The performance was much better than other twin-engine designs due to its unique "push-pull" layout and the much lower drag of the in-line alignment of the two motors. As a result it was high maneuverable and definitively the fastest piston engine plane of the war, even faster than some early jet planes (almost 800kph / ~480mph). Only a handful were delivered before the war ended but they didn’t go to operation.

It seemed to be impossible to do this within 700 complexity but here it is. It looks a little bit faster than it is because of the drag of the two heli bladed propellers.

Features: -Realistic engine start -Automatic retractable gear -Four timed guns -Props keep slowly moving in the air when engines are switched off -Three bombing cannons for more fun

INFO: Delay of the small fuselage guns cannot be set better. Otherwise they will blow away the prop blades all the time (this still could happen sometimes).

Steering air:
WSAD = Elevator/roll
Space = toggle engines (wait for realistic engine start!)

Steering ground:
A D = Left/Right + slow forward (No need to start engines before!)
A+D = Press both together to drive forward only

Other keybinds:
Lalt = toggle gun
X = Toggle Bombing cannons
. = No function, only place holder

------------------------------------------------

Steuerung Flug:
WSAD = Höhenruder/Rollen
Space = Motoren einschalten (Den realistischen Start abwarten!)

Steuerung Boden:
A D = Links/Rechts + langsam vorwärts (Motoren vorher nicht starten!)

Andere Tasten:
Lalt = Kanone einschalten
X = Bomben Kanonen einschalten
. = Keine Funktion, nur Platzhalter

No problem. It is always nice when people recognize that things are stolen.
So feel free to put again comments below stolen things from my workshop ;-)
Btw. I am working on a realistic looking Nano Tank, only about 8x4 blocks...

Sorry! I accidentally deleted your comment. Thank you and don't mention it. I just don't like it when it's stolen!
