SKGT006 - GEML London - Ipswich: London's calling

Description
This is a fictional scenario taking you on the GEML from Ipswich to London Liverpool Street, using a masterfully crafted Class 90.
You'll be making a couple of stops on the way: Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford and Stratford.

The scenario focuses on recreating a feeling of rush hour hustle, with many trains on the line, particularly as you get closer to London. However, it doesn't attempt to make it true to life - the timetable is fictional and to keep the requirement list short you'll only encounter Class 90, Class 360 and Class 47 trains on the line (which is highly unrealistic).

If you prefer an uninterrupted run of green signals this is not a scenario for you, but if you don't mind the challenge of yellows and reds keeping you on your toes during the rush hour - it may be just the right one for you.

The AI traffic close to London is quite heavy - be aware of potential performance issues particularly if you're using an older PC.

Disclaimer: the game crashed twice with "Out of Memory" error when I was testing this scenario. Both times it was shortly after switching to the free camera (8 key). I suspect that the memory usage spikes when the game tries to quickly load additional scenery for the outside view causing the OOM error. I was able to complete the scenario with no issues by staying in the inside view (1 key) the whole journey.

Route: GEML: London - Ipswich
Time: approx. 75 mins
DLC Requirements: GEML: London - Ipswich (route), Class 90 (train), European Loco & Assets Pack.
AI Services: 36

Note: The Metropolitan Line DLC is not required for this scenario

You're welcome Paulokomo. I've always enjoyed playing UK based rush hour scenarios (particularly going to or from London) so now that I'm slowly getting into scenario creation myself I'm planning to make more such scenarios from time to time.

Yes, a really pleasing and enjoyful Szenario, which gave me the impression of British rush hour on the tracks. Many thanks !:steamthis::steamthumbsup:

Thanks Fairrosamund and tonix. Tonix, I was actually looking for an option to have the master key in at the start (which would have made more sense given how the scenario starts), but couldn't find it.

Thanks pjohnandlyns. Believe me, I was tempted to keep adding the AI trains, but started to get worried about the performance issues once I got the OOM error when testing. In the future I'll probably try building a scenario with even more traffic density, but on a smaller route.

Nicely done. Ran well with no problems at all. Timings were fine.
I think it would have been better still with a few more AI's running out on the main line between stops.
