Description
My version of the B-24 Liberator with retractable ball turret. It's an approximation and definitely not a 1:1 replica.

This one has been damaged on route to the target and two engines are on fire. It has lost a lot of its power but can still chug along enough to try to complete the mission before returning home.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down Arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right Arrow: Roll.
Space: Parking brake.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
Hold X/Invert steering: Bomb bay doors.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Release bombs. See below.
K/Hazard lights: Lower/Raise ball turret. See below.
C: Switch camera. 1 Front turret, 2 bomb sight, 3 ball turret
Machine guns: Controlled from nearby seats with WASD and Fire action 1.

- To be able to play solo the bombs are released from pilot's seat. The bombs are released 5 at a time on a timer every 0.5 seconds with just one press of the fire button. It will take 4 seconds to drop all of them.

- I had to make the front turret remote controlled because of lack of space. It's controlled from the seat behind the bomber's seat.

- The ball turret is also remote controlled from the centre seat just in front of it. Use K/Hazard lights from this seat to lower/raise the turret. It can only be done when guns are facing backwards as indicated by the left red/green orientation lights visible from the seat and from the turret camera.
Once the turret is lowered the warning lights to the right of the orientation lights and in the cockpit turns red, indicating that landing should be avoided if possible.
To retract the turret get guns horisontal-ish and turn until orientation light is green (if the guns are tilted downwards a lot the sensor may pick up the turret itself and cause a false green light). The easiest way to retract turret is to press K again and then turn the turret until it starts moving.

Have fun! :)

Hamilcar is on my list, I can put the CG-4 Waco on there too. No deadline for either though since I'll be in the summerhouse all summer and busy with other stuff, byt I'll put them on the list. :)

CG-4 was the American one.

C-47 and maybe the American glider. Possibly the Hamilcar.

The C-47 Skytrain is on my list, can't say when I get to it but it's on the list. Been thinking of adding the Ju-52 to the list too. Did you have any particular plane in mind?

Do you make transport planes?

While you wait the Lightning with 12 rockets packs quite a punch.:steamhappy:

There are a lot of very nice tanks in the workshop, several of them way better than I coud make, so I will most likely not make any tanks.
I have already made ground attack versions of a few American planes i.e. Mustang, Corsair, Avenger and Lightning with rockets and/or bombs.
I have the Warhawk and Thunderbolt on my to-do list and will definitely make ground attack versions of them too once I get to them.
