Description
My second (and slightly) better version of the iconic Avro Lancaster Mk I heavy bomber.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

NOTE!
This one carries no bombs but has a winch at the rear for anyone who wants to try and tow the gliders I just released. It does not work on your own but maybe if there's one pilot in each plane. It probably won't but feel free to try.
It also has a more powerful engine to make the towing a bit easier.
Attach the hook to the front wheel of the Airspeed Horsa and go I guess. :)

It's armed with 2 + 2 + 4 machine guns in nose, dorsal and rear turrets.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
B/Beacon: Retractable landing lights.
Hold X/Invert steering: Bomb bay doors.
Auxiliary/PgUp-PgDn: Winch.

NEW!
Fire in the engines!
PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary (without Alt): Fire in engine one.
Alt + PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary: Fire in engine two.
L/Headlights: Fire in engine three.
K/Hazard light: Fire in engine four.
I can't stop the engines since the plane won't fly with lopsided engines but you get a lot of smoke and some flames (as in orange smoke) for RP purposes.

The turrets are controlled from their respective seat. Alt controls.
Arrow keys/Mouse: Aim.
Fire action/Num 1: Fire.

Camera 1: Bomb sight.
Camera 2: Nose turret.
Camera 3: Dorsal turret.
Camera 4: Rear turret.

Feel free to edit, but if you re-upload publically in any way please acknowledge the original creation and creator.

Have fun!

It's far from perfect but it looks ok and goes BOOM a lot. :steamhappy:

I'd definitely love to make a decent B-29 someday, I just can't promise anything right now. :)

Also a 4-engine heavy bomber like that takes about 30-50 hours to build and I don't quite have the energy right now, especially since I know it's a tricky build to get even reasonably right.
So I can't promise a B-29 anytime soon most likely. Sorry

oh sorry

As I've written in onther comments about the B-29 it's a tricky one because of all the glass in the very rounded nose. This game doesn't really have tools to make hollow stuff, and I've already tested a few things to make a nose that looks ok and i not just a solid piece of glass everything and everyone will clip through but I haven't figured it out yet.
Right now I'm pretty busy with IRL stuff as well as dealing with some health issues so I'm not building much, and the B-29 will take quite some time and effort I can't give a time schedule or deadline I'm afraid.
The B-29 is definitely on my list but I have no idea when I will have the eneregy to solve the issues if at all possible.

Haha sure I'll put the Ohka on my list. No time frame though since I'm a bit busy in the coming weeks, but it's on the list. :)
