Rare Patterns (Leopard Printed + Tiger Buffed)

In this guide I will do my best to share all the information I have on Tiger Buffed/Leopard Printed War Paints.

What are they?

These two different War Paints have an uncommon chance to have a white pattern, they also have a rare chance to be completely black.

The legends speak of a purple pattern but, to this very day, not a soul has seen it.

How to find them?

The best area to look for these rare patterns is undeniably the Steam Community market, this is mainly because it has the most listings/sales out of all the websites. Some already applied weapons/skins can also have the rare patterns, but people look at war paints(un-applied) mostly due to there being more listings at a fair market rate. Don't know how to inspect an item in-game? I gotchu covered!

How rare is a dark brown leopard printed?

heya! i did a little testing with some modded textures and i can unfortunately confirm that the purple variants do not exist. for some reason, these war paints are only generated from the upper left quadrant of the gradient mask, which means a purple variant can never be generated. It also backs up my feeling that black patterns are a lot more common than they should be - being entirely in the top left quadrant, they are relatively easier to find than the other colours who have had their pools considerably reduced by the erroneous generation. Interestingly, this also makes the richer orange variant of the pattern impossible to find too! I suppose nobody has noticed since its so similar to some of the other golden-browns. i bashed together a quick recording of my tests here https://youtu.be/K4QtqNUF7go
