Kasuga Maru No.2

Kasuga Maru No.2 (第二春日丸) is a fictional fishing boat with the registration number of JP-K08-0456. She is a Japanese Tuna Longliner fishing boat working in the Seto Inland Sea with a crew of 5. Powered with a single 2 cylinder 3x3 engine, she can reach a speed of 16 knots. The main engine is paired with a small generator in case of required electricity. I tried to give the interior a mix of modern and traditional design.

There is two helms for controlling the boat, a helm and a helm chair. The helm chair can be raised upwards to provide more visibility. Do note that the wheelhouse helm has authority over the helm chair so it will have control when both are occupied.

Nothing much, just a simple fishing boat. It can be used for exploration and small delivery missions. I tried to make it compatible with JSI's Fishing Addon, however making a longline system is almost impossible with it. The ship is made without a pitch stab on purpose. I think it is pretty good at coastal areas, just avoid going far away from landmass because waves can be rough with this boat.

1. Go to the ladder leading to engine room.
2. Once you get down there is a breaker panel to the right of the ladder. Activate the Main, Equipment, and Engine Circuit breakers.
3. Turn on the keys of both the Main and auxiliary engine. You can either start the engine either through the keys located in the wheelhouse or the engine room.
4. The engine has started and wait for it to reach its idle RPS and you are good to throttle the boat.
