Description
Empire of the Golden Sun
The golden sun arises from black ground.
The ground shakes under the hooves of the best horses of the Empire and the massive numbers of their soldiers.

This mod gives access to a completely new multiplayer faction that is clearly different from the Empire. Averland is balanced from tournaments players. It currently does not include a campaign but will be submitted as soon as Immortal Empire is released. (Reason: Province Averland is not part of the WH3 map)

Contents:
+ New faction Averland with over 25 new units.
+ New playstyle completely different from the empire.
+ 3 new legendary generals (4 in normal)
+ Balanced for multiplayer and tournaments

Background:
The Averlanders are people of contrasts. They use a combination of ancient weapons and new technology for their soldiers. What they lack in skill, they compensate with numbers. Knightly orders from all over the empire join the Averlanders and so they have access to a large number of different orders.
While their weapons tend to lack precision, they compensate this with volume of fire. A frontal assault on Averland is doomed to fail due to the massed amount of fire power they can unleash unto the enemy. An opponent will also have to watch their flanks due to the varied Averland elite cavalry.
The Averlands excel in short distance ranged attacks, where their rather unprecise large volume of fire hits hardest.

a small statement
Ascopa started this former Warhammer 2 project as a pure skirmish and MP mod. After we got in touch, I helped him convert it to a campaign mod - the workload was about 70 (Ascopa) to 30 (me). For the last 2 years I've been helping him import his vision into Warhammer 3 again, alongside working on my own projects.
Over the last year and months, priorities have shifted and real life has kicked in, so Ascopa has decided to take a break and ask me to take over his Averland project completely. But besides my own real life, mod projects and motivation, it's hard to find the time to give this mod its campaign debut. I won't promise anything at this point except that I will try. Finally, I just ask for your patience.

ich meine eher so eine kleine mod zu erstellen die diese einheit ins spiel bringt für das imperium.

Natürlich geht das. Aber gepanzerte Armbrustschützen sind wohl eher etwas für Tilea ;)

Ascopa hat sich das Roster im vollem Umfang erdacht und erstellt. Der Sinn dahinter ist es bewusst stärken und schwächen zu setzten, wie sie jede andere Fraktion auch haben.

Die Mod ist sehr cool, super gemacht und vorallem coole einheiten. Ich habe noch eine kleine frage könntest du eine kleine mod erstellen die eine elite crossbow einheit hat. Ich finde die idee von schweren elite crossbowmen die ein effektives schild wie die darkshards haben sehr cool also in etwa wie breganzas besiegers. Einfach eine eliteeinheit mit schild beim schiessen und nahekampf schwer gepanzert mit guten nahekampf stats und fernkamp stats mit armour piercing missiles. Als Vorbild zur rüstung villeich reiksgard inspiriert. Geht dass zum programmieren Ich würde es echt sehr cool finden wenn du zeit dafür hättest und motivation.

Also du meinst averland sein eine seperate fraktion also nicht im imperium selber sonder eine komplett andere fraktion

So the faction is there but not the units, sounds strange to me. You are NOT choosing Empire but Averland as faction, correct?

i first used mods like morr knihts sigmars heirs then i deactivated the mods and only activated this mod but it didnt work
