Description
This is a simple lightwarp idea that my friend gave me

You can use this in pac3 as a lightwarp texture for anime like shading, you can also combine it with phong with boost set to 0.01 and exponent to 5 for a different looking anime like shading

PAC3 (also listed in the requirements but not needed for this to work)

the way i achieve outlines, i take a model in blender, duplicate the mesh and scale along normals to make it slightly larger than the base model, then invert normals so only the inside is shown, that makes all the edges of the model show up

i was lied to...this is called cel shading, the outlines don't have a specific name, it's more of a style preference, i hate pac3, can't get anything right

no that is called cell shading

outlines?

you would have to edit the entire material

well, the problem im having is that it's coloring the full hat, which I don't want I only want it to color the parts it normally colors as it would in tf2 (for example im using the plumbers cap, and in that hat the mustache and the white surrounding the E are not colorable but here they are.

this is just a lightwarp texture, use color in the base texture or color function in the material

I managed to figure that out, how do I get this to work with colored tf2 hats (like colored like how they're actually painted in the game)

you just set the lightwrap texture onto both textures

what do I do if the model im using has more textures (example: theres a seperate texture for tf2 characters head and their bodies)
