Orcs Must Die! the Boardgame! [Unchained Version]

Description

Welcome

First and foremost, please take a moment to acknowledge the creators of the Orcs Must Die! franchise, Robot Entertainment. Buy the Games!

I created this TTS mod because:
1) This board game is officially out of print. You may still purchase it in some stores (and in fact Petersen Games does seem to have some Hero Packs still available in their official store), but as for the main versions of the game, they are on their final stock in stores, and I encourage you to buy a copy if you're remotely interested. I do plan on importing the remaining parts for posterity.
2) I desired to see it be not only much better for ease of use, but to ideally update its rough edges (this was a labor of love, but clearly rushed in places) with QOL changes on rules, items, etc. I hope you can enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Shiny Stuff. Like Max's Face.
•Currently the entire Base Game of the Unchained Version.
•All "Heroes as Bosses" cards, as well as all the updated Boss cards released digitally only by publishers of the board game, Petersen Games, and Kickstarter Exclusive Boss, Mr. Moneybags.
•Custom figurines for all minion types as well as the 4 base heroes, utilizing the actual 3d models ripped directly from OMD:Unchained files. Custom dice re-drawn from the originals. (see thank you section!)
•Snap points for most relevant areas which require them.
•Scripted bowls which keep track, and allow quick addition and removal, of skull count.
•Scripted spawn system, which allows you to place an army card into a specific slot, make sure you have the correct player count selected, and it will create the army it specifies on the card so you can just place it right onto the location tile you need. (see the video in the description if you wish to learn more)
•Scripted unit "bags" which allow you to stack multiple units of the same kind to appear as a single model on the board, but clearly represent multiple units in terms of count. (see the video in the description if you wish to learn more)
•Scripted buttons to easily control all location tiles - lock them or unlock them all at once, so you don't have to worry about the tile moving when you go to pick up your figures.
•Play by yourself, by playing more than one Hero!

Things to Be Aware Of
•There's some small issues with the figures appearances if you look very closely. They are a work in progress. Rest assured they will be even better as time goes on. :)
•There is an error which sometimes pops up upon exiting the game to Tabletop Simulator's main menu (destroying the timer on the bowls). It is harmless. Just ignore it.
•"Hey, that's not a barricade (/insert other trap name here)!" or "Hey, this is an image ripped directly from the game, not a scan of the original card!" This is how the Board Game shipped/was printed. I know that the barricade isn't actually showing a barricade image (lolz naphtha sprayer), nor does it function even remotely like a barricade does in the actual PC game did. This initial "launch version" for the Board Game for TTS remains as true to the original physical game as it can without actually wasting time. This means that traps and gear may not do or even look remotely as they are labeled because frankly that's how it was shipped. It may mean that I got lazy and didn't want to scan in an image for a card when I was instead supplied perfectly servicable images right from the game files themselves, even if the card image looked somewhat different. It just saved time to use the images already ripped from the PC Game of Unchained so that's what was used. The roadmap I have does include making a "Community Version" where hopefully we (as said community) can decide on some fixes as we get the opportunity to play the game more widely with others.
•The Player Control Panels (with the Skull Bowls) aren't moveable. Please don't try. You also may not move the Hellboss or the Rift Board, since there are snap points for the health tokens. On the same note, for now since you can move the Hero Sheets to whichever color seat you'd like (they are just normally locked, either Right-click and select unlock, or push the default "L" key while hovering over them to unlock), there aren't any snap points for the health tokens on the Hero Sheet. I hope to script this later, but for now, manually moving your health token on the Hero Sheets is necessary.
•Do not mess with tags. Or names on items. Or GM Notes. *Especially GM Notes.* It will break scripts. I am not liable to fixing it if you broke it as I have given you this warning, very sorry.

In ROUGH estimation of addition, subject to change

Thank You List
This list is long because despite the many, many hours I spent on this, there was also quite a number of people I interacted with along the way to make this possible.

•Robot Entertainment for the IP, and Petersen Games for publishing the physical boardgame. Duh! (And Robot if you're listening... even if you can't give us back Unchained, please give us back the progression from Unchained as an option in 3? ;_;)
•questionablyinsane from the OMDU Modding Server. "Insane" timing to have met you when I had just begun this project and even more insane how fantastic these custom figures all look. Incredible to work with you. <3 (Timemaster too, for the Unchained game images!)
Official TTS Discord[discord.gg]'s #custom-assets & #scripting denizens - Bone White, rheza, Eldin, dzikakulka, Sebaestschjin, Larikk and probably others I'm missing. Thanks for sticking out and helping when a complete noob to coding like me had dumb questions.
MotoManDan for all the support provided - helping get extra scans to me, helping to test the mod, and general hype.
Orcs Must Die! The Print N' Play Version by Melon Pumpkinhead for the help in tracking down the few errant PDFs we knew were out there. ;)
Adjustable Skysphere by Baryonyx for the ability to just easily adjust my skybox angle.
Counting Bowl by MrStump - basis for the bowls I used and then further tailored for this mod.
Polyhaven[polyhaven.com] for the base HDRI image used as the basis of the current background in the mod.
•My SO... for all the support he provides: general encouragement, thoughtful perspectives, drawing those custom dice images by hand, testing the release candidates... and just being amazing!
