Hatsune Miku

Description
Hatsune Miku is a leek-wielding sword-user with a Negative Edge Clone.

Her normals, strongs and aerials are based off of Lucina rather than Marth so there are no tippers.

I'm not a big fan of tippers so I hope you all can understand my decision despite her using a weapon that looks like she would have tippers.



Specials

Grounded Neutral Special - Grab

Hatsune Miku grabs the opponent with a disjointed grab. Hitting the grab lets you choose if you want to pummel or not alongside being able to throw the opponent in one of four different directions.

Aerial Neutral Special - Blazing End

Hatsune Miku users her leek as a projectile that can be held with special to be out for an indefinite amount of time. Releasing special causes the leek to do a weak launching attack.
Careful because while the leek is out you cannot use most of your attacks outside of Side Special and Down Special.
Opponents hitting the leek breaks it instantly. Making other attacks usable immediately.

Side Special - Fast Dash

Hatsune Miku gets a quick burst of speed that has no hitbox and no pratfall. She can attack cancel the dash and/or use the horizontal speed to quickly get to the opponent faster than her normal air speed while using the aerial version.

Down Special - Hologram Clone

Hatsune Miku places down a projector that projects a hologram of herself that will remember the first move you used
while you are holding an attack / strong button. Releasing the button will cause Miku to do the held attack and the clone will then be able to hold another move.

You can hold a clone move indefinitely including during respawn, when you're out of stocks, and when Clone is not currently on the stage. You can still release the move at any time.

Caution: Clone Strongs require Miku to hold the strong for the entire duration to use a strong without getting punished by the opponent.

Hitting the clone breaks it instantly and puts DSPECIAL on a 2 second cooldown.
Parrying the clone also puts Miku herself into extended parrystun.

Up Special - Dolphin Slash

Very similar to Lucina's Dolphin Slash from Super Smash Bros and goes up quickly before putting Miku into pratfall. The move has a strong hitbox before rising.

The spin is only after 1 minute of idle or on April Fools it takes half a second to do it.

is there a way to activate the spinning animation? I know it goes off after 1 minute of afk but one time it activated everytime I emoted, so I'm curious if that was a bug or something I did. I also know about the up and down emotes.

1.) The Hitboxes in playtest is semi-intentional feature that is leftover from my plans of adding a frame advance feature to playtesting for players to view them without backing out of online mode.
2.) That's an issue with Rivals itself (as far as I know) that makes oPlayer clones spawn an extra buddy
3.) I need more information on the overtime bug. I've never run into that issue before

I might have three problems with this character. One is that you can see the hitstun boxes whenever you playtest the character, two is that when playing a match, the character will create a duplicate buddy behind my buddy, and three is that the character will put the match into overtime no matter what.

I absolutely love this mod! Do you think you could make an echo with Kasane Teto? The leek could be replaced french bread, her neutral taunt could be that dance she does in both Kasane Tetotory and Triple Baka (you know the one), and there's a Teto version of the metal pipe meme that you could use audio from. I'm not sure what would work as a direct counterpart to the up taunt or down taunt, but my idea would be to have her do her respective dances from Ohame Kinou and Mesmerizer. I know it's a bit boring to change all her taunts to random dances, but it's the best I could come up with. A few other ideas for taunt could be her saying her iconic phrase "Kimi wa jitsu ni baka da na", or something related to Popipo Mk-II. If you gave her alt costumes, it would be really cool for her to swap between her UTAU and SynthV outfits, and a Mesmerizer one would be pretty neat too. Of course, this is all just a random suggestion, and I'm fine if you don't make Teto into playable character.

Does her hologram not work in a playtest? I haven't had the time to play her in an actual game but I playtest mods before using them to know theyy aren't broken, and her hologram doesnt seem to do anything in it. I dont know if this is just a playtest thing though

it mainly just happens after everyone is ready to fight, and just before it goes to the stage select screen the crash happens
