Terraria Overhaul (v5.0 BETA 12C)

Description


A large mod for Terraria that focuses on increasing overall enjoyment of the game, via improving aspects such as: combat looks, feel, & mechanics, movement, camera, ambience, and even the entire soundtrack.

The Work-in-Progress 5.0 version for Terraria 1.4 is a complete reimplementation of the mod, which boasts:
- A vastly superior & open sourced codebase;
- Reimagined and more vanilla-faithful, while also more crazy, solid and fun game design;
- Magnitudes more overall quality assurance & polishing.
- Near flawless compatibility with content mods, to be polished further soon.

F.A.Q.

How do I configure the mod?
If clicking 'Configuration' in top left of main menu doesn't help you - Head over to the following path:
On Windows: %userprofile%/Documents/My games/Terraria/tModLoader/TerrariaOverhaul
On Linux: ~/.local/share/Terraria/tModLoader/TerrariaOverhaul
On MacOS: ~/Library/Application support/Terraria/tModLoader/TerrariaOverhaul
(Where tModLoader may be tModLoader-preview if you're using a preview TML version.)
and manually edit the Config.json file. Overhaul will automatically import configuration when it's saved.

Work is currently being done towards having a rich in-game configuration screen.

This mod introduced some brilliant mechanics a whiles back but has lost it's way. And most of those great features. Hoping it gets polished again sometime.
