UPDATED FOR DayZ v1.19

This mod is to make improvements to the Vanilla DayZ Truck_01 "M3S"

* Improved Speed
* Better Gear Ratios (8 Gears)
* Modified Engine Torque and Horse Power

To Do:
* Improve Suspension
* Improve Braking
* Change Storage Sizes

This mod is no longer being updated by myself, as I don't have the time to modify it every time DayZ gets an update.
It is too time consuming to keep up with moving goal posts.

Does this actually still work or change anything? Bohemia updated trucks since this mod came out, so just wondering if it still makes the truck faster, etc.

Love this mod as it actually makes this truck not trash but please fix the over rev sound bug when you have a chance. Its like nails on a chalk board. Other than that 10/10.

With manual transmissions, RPM can rise even as speed decreases. This is common going into a corner or a turn where the gear is used as as a braking mechanism, but also as part of the acceleration process after completing the move. Normally, the RPM will rise in the higher end of the gear, and then drop as the speed drops into the lower range. Of course, since brakes are cheaper than transmissions, it's a questionable strategy in a passenger car.

There's a problem on the relation between the engine RPM and the speed: sometimes the RPM goes up even with the truck losing speed, a thing that shouldn't happen. It elludes the player that the truck is increasing it's speed when it's the oposite. BTW I haven't seen any difference on the truck torque, as "towing" vehicles is as difficult as was before I install this mod.

This mod helped a lot and if adding back the traction to go off road up steep hills like it used to have is at all possible that would make this mod perfect for PVE/RP servers. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into it.
