Description
My version of the iconic Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter.

It's an approximation and in no way a 1:1 replica so no need to tell me every detail that might be wrong.

This the G-6 "light" fighter version armed with 1 20 mm automatic cannon in the nose and 2 machine guns in the engine cowling.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering and Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Rigt arrow: Roll.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Cannon and machine guns.

Sadly the spotty, air brushed German camouflage is impossible to make in the game (the existing pattern that might work makes everything very dark) so I made clean green ones in slightly different shades.

Check out my fighter/bomber version, heavy fighter with rockets and heavy fighter with 2 additional 20 mm cannons too.

Y button for different camera modes, the one you probably want for flying is "Local camera". 😉
Im free-cam right click to make the camera stationary or movable. Hope it helps

ok so my old pc broke down so now I play on a desktop. I forgot how to put my camera in stationary mode

Select the gun in the workshop and in the panel on the right hand side of the workshop screen you choose "Input channel: Axis". I thinks it's Fire action 1/Num 1 by default but you can change it to anything you want.
It needs to be connected to a driver's seat to work, that is part of the same vehicle.
The first added seat will be the driver's seat if you don't change it. It can also be set to be fired from another seat by selecting that seat under "Input channel: Custom Seat" and then just click the seat.

And it's not just me, I've seen several "high profile" plane creators being very critical of the update regarding the new "improved" aerodynamics, so it's not just not me "not getting it" so to speak.
Hopefully the creator will listen and fix this somehow. If nothing else I wish for a way to choose play in either Legacy, last version or new version.
If not my plane building days are over . :(

The developer claims it's more realistic and there's a bit of fancy stuff kn there and I'm sure he's worked very hard at getting it to this point, but the sad fact is that planes (at least slower moving like my propeller planes and especially bigger ones like my bombers) just don't fly well at all. Jet planes work a bit betetr since they have more speed to work with when it comes to control surfaces, speed loss etc but I have basically spent 1000+ hours to build exhibition models after the update.
So unless the aerodynamics are updated/improved in a future patch I will not be building any more planes and I will not spend hundreds of hours trying, and quite certainly failing, to get my old planes to fly just a little less shitty than they do now.

Yes I'm very well aware. Sadly the new fluid dynamic/aerodynamic system has been designed to work with water and ships (which it does but not spectacularly well, at least not from the bit of testing I've done) and in focusing on the water the flying has been all but ruined. I've spent over 20 hours trying to get my Superfotress and my Dauntless to fly at least decently, but it just doesn't work (air brakes are definitely out since they make the plane flip and just go out of control). The new system is not made for planes at all, and nothing I do seems to be able to fix the issues.
Basically all my planes are dead as long as this aerodynamics system is still in the game in this form, because there seems to be nothing I can do to make them work even a bit decently.
