the cause is the old sound set is link to audio folder is wrong as well as all the old audio folder are also missing. here is the fix.
download this from his another mod
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2993464384
go to this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\2993464384\res\config\sound_set
duplicate and rename the following
209_m1.lua->209_0_motor_m1.lua
209_m2.lua->209_0_motor_m2.lua
209_t.lua->209_0_trailer.lua
231_m1.lua->e231_0_motor_m1.lua
231_m2.lua->e231_0_motor_m2.lua
231_t.lua->e231_0_trailer.lua
make sure put 2993464384 mod last. This should fix his old e231-0 and 209 before 2023. Enjoy

This is a really good mod. I used it a lot. But unfortunately it doesn't have any sound. If you could add sound track to that, I'll be really appreciated!
