Additionally, the reason why i put in that you should ban communism is because on top of being "mostly" historical they are also competetive to be used in MP

So the way paradox devs divided the tree is they mixed economic reforms with political background and yes, historically speaking they went left but the quick reconstruction of the french economy and recovery from the first world war is attributed to laissez-faire which is in the right wing. The game itself will not let you be fully historically accurate and you have to pick between one fail RP and another.

Im pretty sure historically the french banned the Far-right nationalist leagues and got closer to the left than the right, so it might be "hoi 4 historical" but it's not accurate to real life
