Extendable Scissor Arms - with Guide Video

설명
A compact and functional scissor mechanism, useful for building lifts, jacks, retractable landing gear. or in this case, extendable arms for grinders, drills and welders.

The file contains several proof of concept test vehicles that you can play around with, tinker and modify. As well as a large workbench with various parts, bits and pieces that would help you construct your own.

I've also added a guide video as well to give you an example of how to build one.

This was made possible thanks to ability to merge stators and rotors explained here:

I'll have build guide for survival up next week, you can build it in survival. It's not impossible.

the video is somewhat ill-chosen because it is suitable for construction not for survival. better is a video which shows that it goes with basic survival methods.

Also when using merge blocks you can build the arm much faster with some copy and paste and without using workarounds.

Hi, I made an auto miner using the scissor extending. It transfers item by using more rotors, gravity gens and some math. Check it out I uploded it to the workshop. If you want to use conveyors beware that the extending arm will be much bulkier and will have less reach.
