Description
Heroes and lords have a natural missile resistance of 15 percent and even damsel's dresses can protect against hits. Now heroes on foot and on horse have 0% resistance and most of their armor is gone. Here are some pointers, spellcasters and light melee characters have 0 armor. medium armor is usually around 20-30. Heavy plated characters that previously were 90-110 armor now have around 40. Chariots provide around 80 armor. Monster mounts like dragons are untouched as the unit their stats reflect usually have lots of armour and missile resistance. Don't let your heroes be caught in rain of missiles. Think casters on foot should have their melee defense reduced below 10 so they would know to keep out of melee?

I'm teasing, it's not how I personally like to play Warhammer but you make great mods and this is good for those who like it

Just updated the mod that it should work, other total war i played was shogun 2 and there having your general in wrong spot could mean he was gone in seconds, trying to emulate that but still not that level yet.

"Because characters are too tanky especially against low AP ranged fire." he says as grimin the orc GOD gets mowed down by 2 units of plebs with a stick & string lol

It helps a lot with the AI vs hero stacked armies. Typically you can just make a hero heavy army with a reserve army of fodder/arty and just wipe the map against anything. In large part because heroes/lords are insanely hard to kill with archers, though in reality a hundred archers shooting anything is going to take it down armor piercing or not (their are lots of holes in said armor).

I really dig the mod tbh as it increases difficulty by a good amount and make you have to rethink siege battles entirely.
