While only ca. 40% of the maps area got finished for ASE, it still should be pretty playable:
- all artifacts can be found inside the playable areas
- all base game resources are on the map, as well as most of the DLC ones
- Boss requirements were altered to not include any apex drop from dinos that don't spawn
- the 3 basic bosses from the island can be summoned
Hi, while i'm not sure what the first half of your comment means, first off: I'm very sorry to the players who remain on ASE
As of writing the team behind velius decided to halt development on this version of velius and continue development on ASA
While the remaster definitely has some issues, it's also the version of the game with live support and new content.
But honestly, speaking as the map dev of the team, even if those two weren't a factor, i would still want to go over ASA because of something else:
The dev kit. Working in the old dev kit was a slog with lengthy loading times, while the new one not only loads significantly faster and crashes less often, but also offers some new opportunities for mapping
All of that being said, i'll update the description here to reflect that, i did announce it on my discord, but honestly just forgot to update the steam workshop text, so thx for reminding me
