Description
Ironclad turret ship 'Commodore'

Designed and built due to public pressure, the ‘Commodore’ was an experimental vessel and way ahead of her time in many features, from fully enclosed armoured turrets to electric lighting! Unfortunately, being so advanced may have led to some design flaws…

Specifications
16.4 knot top speed
Roughly 240km range at top speed (range decreases at lower speeds)
Length – 56.25m
Width – 9.25m
Depth – 4m
Capacity for 31 crew

Armament
4 Artillery cannon mounted in 2 weather deck turrets
2 Battle cannons mounted on hurricane deck fore and aft
Functional ram bow
Numerous small arms

Features
Simple yet detailed interior
Simulated horizontal trunk engine
Fully stocked equipment rooms
2 electric life-boats
4 scripted sink modes
Working anchors
GPS autopilot
GPS Map

To start
Head into the ship and take any ladder down
On the very bottom deck of the ship, head forward to the boiler room
Turn the key on each boiler to light it
Once steam pressure has risen, you're good to go

To sink
Head to the captain’s cabin at the rear of the ship
Sit at the desk and you’ll see the keypad on it
Choose a sink mode
1
This causes a magazine detonation and a slow sink by the bow
2
This causes a much faster sink by capsizing the ship (historically accurate)
3
Similar to method 1 but also requires winds to be turned up
4
Similar to method 2 but also requires wind to be turned up (extra realistic)

Notes
The weather deck can get wet in rough weather, make sure you batten the hatches...

Inspired by HMS Captain (1870)

The entire front of the ship floods in rough seas because water can get in through that window on the deck at the front. Some ballasts would be nice up there. If there are ballasts up there then a way to activate all ballasts from the bridge that would be great. Otherwise great ship and I can't wait to see what you do next.

Now we have to add this to the list of "how NOT to build a ship" lol.
jokes aside great build of history, a perfect ship for sinking in bad seas
