Description

Add the "Q" shortcut as in Factorio, for conveniently selecting and switching designators. Save your life from multiple clicks in the commands tab.

Details:

When you haven't selected anything and no tabs are open, hitting the 'Q' key will trigger a designator for the item your mouse is hovering over.
You can cycle through all possible designators by pressing 'Q' repeatedly.
If the item is a building or a floor, a 'build copy' command will be activated.
If the item your mouse is on already has a designator, using this shortcut will issue a cancel command.
You can also customize the 'Q' key to any other key you prefer in the game settings.
When using with Designator Shape, you must rebind the Q shortcut in game option or use the second shortcut T. Otherwise, the cycle won't work correctly.

Compatible with all "reversed" designators from vanilla or mods.

FAQ:

Can be safely added to or removed from your save.
It's a tiny QoL mod, so I suppose there are no compatibility issues. Contact me if you find one.

eh hem. i have a couple hours in this game, and i have never seen this mod. this makes me sad. im going to add it now, and see if i can delete years of muscle memory from my brain. thank you.

能不能禁用一些命令，如多层mod的搬运，老是第一个q出来，也用不了，想能不能在快捷q的时候不识别这个命令

Thanks for making this mod! If I could make a suggestion, please consider pressing the Q key to pull up a geothermal generator when the mouse hovers over a geyser.

哇嗷，最近也在玩异星工厂，然后就很想用q快捷复制，但是默认的O键太远了，没想到大佬也是模仿异星工厂做的！！太好了！

Thanks for this awesome mod. I have a request, would it be possible for the Q key to bring up the smooth floor designator when the mouse is over the appropriate type of terrain? Thanks :)

This mod is amazing.

I am playing a tree loving colony and having to manually designate trees to be uprooted is tedious and horrible. This made it actually reasonable to do.
