Daewoo Nexia 2003 Russian Police

Daewoo Nexia is still used in Russia as a police car.

Daewoo Nexia is a descendant of the Opel Kadett, which was born after the modernization of the Daewoo Racer model in 1994. In the South Korean market, the model is known as the Daewoo Cielo. Soon the car was removed from production in South Korea. Since 1996, Nexia has been produced at Daewoo affiliates (subsidiaries) in various countries. Cars were delivered to Russia and neighboring countries from Uzbekistan through the UzDaewoo network of GM Uzbekistan. From 1996 to 1998, the SKD assembly of this model from Korean car kits was carried out by the Doninvest financial and industrial group at the Krasny Aksai plant in Rostov. Until 2016, the car was produced on a full cycle only in Uzbekistan, in the city of Asaka, Andijan region.
