SSW Wallaby - Reforged Starter CV

A wallaby (/ˈwɒləbi/) is a small or middle-sized macropod native to Australia and New Guinea. The term "wallaby" is an informal designation generally used for any macropod that is smaller than a kangaroo or a wallaroo that has not been designated otherwise. Young wallabies are referred to as "joeys", like many other marsupials.

SSW is proud to introduce the upsize version of the Joey starter SV - the Wallaby! This SC1, level 12 unlock Reforged starter CV comes straight from the factory equipped with:

320k Harvest controller + eight (8) other separately color-coded and labeled cargo boxes

Advanced and Small Constructors
All standard survival amenities including Biomed chamber, Oxygen station, Food Processor, Fridge, Armor Locker

Upgrade spacing provided for two of the new Reforged 1.7 Shield Boosters. Installing either a Capacitor or Charger (Cap recommended) will keep you within Core2 CPU. Anything else will require an Improved CPU, installed between the Core and Basic CPU behind the elevator (remove two carbon blocks).

With the Improved CPU comes an additional Shield booster (Charger suggested). The four clusters of Medium thrusters can all be upgraded to a single Advanced thruster. A Drill turret has a space front and center while two additional offensive turrets (virtually anything except Plasma) can be mounted to the sides of the Wallaby. Several additional Medium (or even Large - the 3x1x1) thrusters can be installed on the sides for enhanced downthrust.

The Wallaby was specifically designed as a straight conversion from the Joey to hold the Joey for the trip outside your starter system. The Joey will fit inside or on the roof. Two solar panels in the hangar reduce power draw slightly but won't cancel it completely.

The two (2) Minigun turrets should be plenty to ward off any typical drone threat, but despite the steel hull construction the Wallaby is obviously not meant to engage larger foes.

A switched Grow light is provided in the main cabin. Remove the cockpit stairs (replace with 1x1 version) and replace all 9 floor blocks with Grow plots for a small garden. This will reduce the Harvest controller capacity slightly. Open spaces in the main cabin will hold the full complement of medical devices. A Repair Station can be placed where the Armor Locker sits (Armor Locker can be mounted to the front of the Repair Station afterwards).
