Description
Steel cars became the new standard for safety and service, as well as durability and cost-effectiveness. The original steel cars followed the designs of earlier wooden coaches. Engineers quickly saw advantages in the new construction methods that made cars longer, lighter, long-lasting, and cheaper to build. The new cars could be modernized with lounges, observation sections, air conditioning, steam heat and rotating seats. The Pennsylvania Railroad quickly set the standard for all-steel service, ordering passenger-baggage, baggage-mail, mail, and dining cars of similar construction. The Pennsylvania Railroad used several manufacturers to build a total fleet of over a thousand P-70 coaches.

Hello Everyone!
After releasing the K4s I noticed a lot of you wanted some passenger cars to go along with it, so I listened and after about a weeks worth of work, I can now present to you the first in a two part passenger coach set! To give you something to look forward to, I took a poll on Twitter (which you should follow if you haven't already) asking what you would like to see finished after the P70s. From what I gathered it seems you all would like more passenger cars, so I'm pleased to announce the next part of this set will be a Pennsy baggage car! This pack in particular includes the Pre War and Post War variants of the P70s to compliment the Pre War/Post War K4s.
That about does it for now, I hope you all enjoy the P70s they were a blast to make!

Cheers!

I've been staring at this for several minutes trying to figure out why your heavyweight coaches looks so much better than the vanilla one. Anyways looks amazing.
